Core capabilities
Design, solar, airfield work, and commercial electrical contracting.
Caribbean Technical Services is an electrical engineering and electrical contracting practice. We produce sealed documents, walk existing buildings, and stay involved through construction when the job needs it.

01
Electrical systems
We design building electrical systems that can be permitted, bid, and built. Work typically includes service and distribution, lighting, grounding, emergency and standby power, and coordination with architectural and mechanical drawings.
- Industrial, educational, and commercial facilities
- Service, distribution, lighting, and standby power
- Permit sets, specifications, and construction documents

02
Commercial electrical contracting
For commercial tenant improvements CTSI acts as the electrical contractor of record. Typical scope includes TI power, lighting, and devices through rough-in and trim, plus panel and service work when it is in the package. We carry permitting, inspection, punch, and closeout. Field work is performed through licensed, insured electrical subcontractors under written agreements.
- TI power, lighting, and devices
- Rough-in, trim, and panel/service work within scope
- Permitting, inspection, punch, and closeout
- Licensed, insured electrical subcontractors

03
Airfield electrical
Airfield electrical is its own language — constant-current regulators, series lighting circuits, elevated and in-pavement fixtures, guidance signs, and the vault that feeds them. We design and review those systems so they can be built, tested, and accepted under FAA criteria and the airport owner's standards.
- Runway, taxiway, and apron lighting
- Series circuits, CCRs, and airfield vaults
- Guidance signs, NAVAID power, and existing-system upgrades

04
Solar photovoltaic
Photovoltaic work covers array layout, inverter selection, interconnection, and the electrical drawings required for permitting. We treat solar as an electrical system, not a product brochure.
- Rooftop and site-mounted arrays
- Interconnection and protection
- Industrial, commercial, and residential clients

05
Electrical estimating & project management
We estimate electrical construction and then run the work. That includes quantity takeoffs, bid packages, buyout, scheduling, field coordination, change pricing, and the monthly paper that keeps an owner and a contractor aligned. Our estimators have been awarded over $200,000,000 worth of work from Miramar, Florida. The same office that prices the job can manage it.
- Electrical takeoffs, bids, and change pricing
- Project management, scheduling, and field coordination
- Submittals, as-builts, and pay requisitions

06
Field engineering
Before design, we walk the site. During construction, we review installations against the National Electrical Code and the contract documents. The point is fewer surprises at inspection.
- Existing-conditions surveys
- NEC and contract-document reviews
- Punch lists and closeout support

07
Specialty electrical
Some jobs need electrical judgment more than a standard template. We have designed marina electrical systems, coordinated MEP for high-end tenant improvements, and supported retrofits where the existing building is the constraint.
- Marina and waterfront power
- Tenant improvement MEP coordination
- Retrofits in occupied buildings
